This coffee shop is under new ownership and is now called daughter and son. The atmosphere is nice and the coffee was just ok. I got the cold brew but in my opinion, it was a lot less full-bodied than I'm used to. I was tempted to go back to maybe add a shot of espresso to it. The barista was so kind and accommodating and the establishment was clean. The also have a cute outdoor area where you can enjoy people watching while having your coffee.
They really get it. They've got personality! They've got spunk! Every time I go, I leave better than when I came in. It's nice knowing that there's a coffee shop with a nice wine selection for when i am tired of coffee. I also love that they let me bring my dog in! It makes me feel supported and at home. The energy of the space and the people are right xx
My favorite coffee spot in Brooklyn! The layout is gorgeous and different. I love the stoop seating. My vanilla latte is always made to perfection hot or cold. But the number one reason why I love this places because it's includes the community. They are in Crown Heights but they don't turn the people from Crown Heights away. I notice the love the and I appreciate this place for it.
This is a really well thought out and cute neighborhood coffee shop near Brower Park. They have the standard fare of coffee and pastries here, as well as light appetizers and wine in the evening. Their brownie is one of the most incredible brownies I've had in a while. There are little granular bits of sea salt on top which cuts through some of the richness of the brownie. Their iced latte is also delicious. The only gripe I had about the service was that when I ordered their panzanella at night, it took a long time to get (20 minutes and I think they forgot about us). Their wine selection is small but quality, but also the price of a cocktail. There's a sign in their window that says they have Jazz Wednesdays but the last Wednesday I went, there was no jazz lol. I love the dim lighting at night and there are cubbies for you and a friend to hang out on. Very stylish and delicious.
